Ozone IV therapy is an important and complementary medicine that can be used with other therapeutic methods at Angel Longevity Medical Center.
What is ozone therapy?
Medical ozone is always a mixture of the purest oxygen and the purest ozone. It increases the amount of oxygen in the body through the introduction of ozone.
Ozone is a blue colored form of oxygen (it’s what makes the sky blue). Unlike regular oxygen, it has three oxygen atoms instead of two.
It is because of this third oxygen atom that ozone is a “supercharged” oxygen with immense benefits and medical properties.
At Angel Longevity Medical Center, we offer ozone IV therapy as a unique, complementary medicine to other therapeutic methods to help treat several diseases.
The benefits
There are many health and wellness benefits attributed to ozone IV therapy, including:
- Medical ozone has bactericidal, fungicidal, and virucidal properties. As such, it is widely used as a disinfectant.
- When medical ozone is administered at low concentrations, the body’s resistance is mobilized, meaning ozone reactivates the immune system. As a response to this activation, the body’s white cells produce protein messengers called cytokines. These inform other white cells, setting off a cascade of positive changes throughout the immune system, which is stimulated to resist diseases. This can help patients with low immune system activity.
- Medical ozone has the ability to stimulate circulation and is used in the treatment of circulatory disorders.
- Medical ozone can activate the body’s antioxidants and radical scavengers. This process occurs when the ozone is applied in small quantities in what is called “major autohemotherapy” – also known as the external treatment of a patient’s blood before infusion. This creates a benefit for patients with diseases that involve inflammation.

Contact UsWhat diseases benefit from ozone therapy?
A large number of pathological conditions exist which can be helped by our ozone therapy. The benefits of the treatment have been confirmed by many scientific clinical studies.
When medical ozone is applied in addition to other therapeutic methods, a number of diseases and disorders can be helped. Some of the diseases that can benefit from this treatment approach include:
Circulatory disorders
Ozone shows its greatest effect in circulatory disorders. This form of treatment has avoided amputations in a number of clinically recorded cases. Infected wounds, open leg ulcers, and burns can all be treated by ozone IV therapy.
Age-related conditions
Ozone can be used successfully for poor concentration, forgetfulness, general reductions in mental and physical performance, insecurity in walking, and dizziness or vertigo, all thanks to ozone’s general revitalizing capacity. Our elderly clients in particular experience an improvement in well-being following treatment.
Intestinal conditions
Inflammatory conditions of the large intestine such as colitis, fistulas, and proctitis (inflammation of the rectum) can be helped with ozone therapy. A local application of ozone gas introduced via insufflation can provide relief.
Virus-produced diseases
A series of clinical trials have demonstrated ozone therapy success in treating painful, virus-produced conditions, such as hepatitis and herpes.
Rheumatism/arthritis
Both of these conditions attack the skeletal and locomotor systems to a varying degree. Ozone can treat pain and inflammation and repeated treatments can produce long-term relief.
Cancer
When it comes to cancer, it is emphasized that ozone is not a cure. It is only a complementary measure applied in addition to standard methods. Nonetheless, case histories have shown that ozone can produce impressive results due to its function as an immune stimulatory agent.
Is ozone therapy right for you?
That is something to discuss with Dr. Anju Mathur, who is trained and experienced in the medical use of ozone therapy and would ultimately make that decision with you.
Some conditions will not improve unless ozone is used, and then there are of course many others that can be handled without ozone therapy. However, due to its many therapeutic properties, ozone can be used in combination with a therapeutic plan for almost any disease.
Ozone IV therapy is very beneficial in the treatment of heart disease, circulatory disease, and chronic infections, such as Hepatitis-C, herpes, Lyme, and AIDS. It is also helpful in chronic fatigue syndrome, fibromyalgia, and autoimmune diseases. An ozone therapist, a trained physician, determines the correct dosage according to your medical indication and condition.

Managing expectations What to expect after ozone therapy
While there are many ozone therapy benefits and medical properties, it is important to realize that it is not a magical potion or guaranteed cure. While the approach works great when combined with other therapeutic methods, it is rarely effective by itself.
If you or a loved one has any of the conditions discussed on this page or are suffering from any other disease, incorporating our ozone IV therapy into an existing therapeutic plan may be able to further treat the condition and bring optimal health back into view.
